Kapellbr\u00fccke or the Chapel Bridge is not only a symbol of Lucerne but also the oldest bridge in Europe. Notice! This wooden structure is already 700 years old! As for the historical center, every building here reflects the past \u2014 take the Jesuit Church. Enjoy the foretime!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The museums here are magical, too. For example, the Glacier Museum is one of the oldest sights of Lucerne. There you can feel part of the city 20,000 years ago! Or an interactive Museum of Transport: trains, planes, spaceships, cars. Everything at once and even more \u2014 for children and adults! You have definitely heard about Richard Wagner, and it is here that the house-museum of an outstanding musician belongs. And at this point is found one of the last preserved in the world \u2014 the Bourbaki panorama, fascinating to the core, legs trembling!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As Mark Twain once said, the most exciting monument in the world is the Lucerne dying lion for the dead French Revolution guards. The lion is literally carved into the rock, a kind of nature and man unison. Though, out here, nature is a whole different discussion. As an example, Mount Pilatus, the indigenous paradise and a true love of Queen Victoria, as well as the amazing Lake Lucerne: mountain and forest coasts, dreamy water trams, and inartificial beauty.
