It is no secret that there is no Baden-Baden without the world-famous Kurhaus! And there is no famous Kurhaus without its equally outstanding casino! There, even the not-so-gambler Dostoevsky once lost all of his assets. The entire European elite, including Turgenev and Tolstoy, once visited the majestic gambling house, too. Probably the most important attraction in Baden-Baden is the Roman Baths, and that is how the city’s name, which literally translates into \u201cbathing,\u201d emerged. It’s hard to believe, but the Romans built the Baths in the third century. Moreover, not only the remains of the Baths have survived, but also their fantastic mosaics on the floors, statues, and even more! The Lichtentaler Alley is worth noting, too. It is a real park of the aristocracy of those days. Due to its noble uprise, almost all the best entertainers and artists of the era came there!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is in Baden-Baden that the world’s first and only Faberge Museum is located. Jewelry, cigarette cases made of gold, silver, and platinum, figurines, miniatures, and lamps – and all this beauty is the work of the Faberge jeweler himself, simply breathtaking art! And the Frieder Burda Museum! Temporary exhibitions of eminent contemporary artists are held there, so whenever you come, the museum will have something to amaze you!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To get to the highest point of Baden-Baden, Mount Merkur, where an unreal view of the city and the Rhine Valley opens up … So.
