Let’s first head to the magnificent monument of the French Baroque era – Palais Rohan! Its design was commanded by Napoleon Ist himself, and now houses the three main museums of the city. You have probably heard of Raphael, Botticelli, and Rubens before. Most of their creations are kept there! Cool, isn’t it?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Now let’s take a look at \u200bCath\u00e9drale Notre Dame de Strasbourg\u200b, the great gothic work of art. It is hard to believe that it is already a thousand years old! Stendhal, Baron Kuchelbecker, and Goethe, who used to call Notre Dame \u201cthe exalted tree of God,\u201d have all once climbed the cathedral tower. There is also a museum, called \u0152uvre Notre-Dame, built right by the cathedral, and is a real feast for the eyes!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The beautifully carved patterns of the famous Kammerzell House, one of the best-preserved Gothic buildings in the world, are also worth a look! By the way, now there is a small hotel and a restaurant with traditional Alsatian cuisine, yummm! Trust me, it is there that the combination of the medieval past and the modern present is most appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But that is not all! Have you ever heard of Little France, the Vauban Dam, and the Covered Bridges? It is there that we can see most of the fairy gingerbread fachwerk houses with the Vauban Dam and Covered Bridges that were used to protect the city.
